Uganda: Game Park tourists increase

Promoting Zambia in India

The Zambia Tourism Board delegation travelled to India to establish presence and showcase its tourism products. 20,000 Indian tourists visited the country last year and ZTB plans to actively market the country in India through advertisements, road shows, fam trips for travel agents and the media. Vic Falls Rainforest on the rise

Parks and Wildlife Management Authority says nearly 17,000 tourists, a third of them international visitors visited the famed  Victoria Falls Rainforest during the festive season, earning $270 000 in fees. Buoyed by vast energy resources, Uganda and Tanzania attracted the most foreign direct investment in 2012 in the East African region, according to the State of East Africa 2013 report.
