KENYA VISAS STILL AVAILABLE AT PORT OF ENTRY

During his speech concerning a new initiative to boost tourism from Italy, Kenya’s President Kenyatta announced that manual visa applications at the port of entries into the country, will continue until such a time as the newly introduced e-visa is fully operational.

"We have had a number of challenges on the implementation of the e-visa and I have, therefore, ordered that application on arrival to the country continues as it were," the President said.

Following a series of glitches with the new super E VISA, Atta members, both in Kenya and globally had voiced serious concerns that the abolishment of the old manual system in favour of the new on line system, which has raised all sorts of problems in its infancy. However in a media interview today Atta's CEO Nigel Vere Nicoll commented that "Once these teething issues are resolved, any measures that avoid long queues after a lengthy flight from another continent must surely be welcomed by all, and Atta representing its global membership is confident that the new super E Visa application process, will be running smoothly within a short period."
