Ethiopian Tourism Organization to launch new website
Ethiopian Tourism Organization (ETO) is in the final stage of preparation to officially launch its website.
CEO noted that the organization, which was established in 2014, is planning to introduce its new & official tourism brand – Explore Ethiopia: One Country, Many Contrasts – this year.
Some of the immediate action that the ETO is planning to take is improving the standard of Ethiopia’s main destination sites.
About the Ethiopian Tourism Organization
The Ethiopian Tourism Organization (ETO) started operations in 2014 with a double mandate: developing the tourism product and promoting Ethiopia as a tourism destination. It is an autonomous federal government organ, together with the Tourism Transformation Council headed by the Prime Minister of Ethiopia. The activities of the ETO are guided by a Tourism Board with the participation of high-level representatives of the public and private sectors. The ETO is setting a new paradigm to build a competitive and sustainable tourism sector.
ETO is based in Addis Ababa and works in close collaboration with public and private stakeholders.
