UK and Irish travellers to benefit from new Kenyan e-visa

UK and Irish travellers will benefit from the introduction of a new e-visa service from 2nd July 2015, as confirmed by the Government of Kenya. As of 2nd July 2015, UK and Irish travellers may apply for their Kenya entry visas in advance of arrival in Kenya via the e-visa portal, www.ecitizen.go.ke. Tourist hotels on the Kenyan coast have reported a significant rise in booking inquiries from international and local tour guides following last week’s lifting of travel advisory by the United Kingdom. Chinese Airline Taps Into Uganda Market

It is going to get easier for Ugandans to fly to China, after China Southern Airlines (CSA) signed a deal with Kenya Airways to increase the number of flights to Asia's biggest economy. The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) said the number of Chinese tourists that visited Namibia has increased marginally from 9,910 in 2013 to 11,583 in 2014. The SA Department of Home Affairs has agreed to host a workshop on visa regulations with Wesgro later this month.
