Qatar Airways to Resume Maputo Flights

Qatar Airways has announced that it will resume flights between Doha and Maputo on 21 August. The airline suspended the Doha-Maputo route for what it described as “operational reasons” on 1 May. Kenya has suspended a multimillion shilling marketing communication deal with Cable News Network (CNN) over a recent terrorism slur. The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) said the move was necessary to avoid backlash from Kenyans angered by the "misrepresentation on the country's security status".
