On January 13th the second Payment Services Directive becomes law throughout the EU. Most of it is of concern only to those such as banks who provide financial services but for the travel industry, the real issue is the banning of any surcharge imposed on consumers for paying for their travel arrangements by debit and credit card. The aim is to improve the transparency of the real cost of a purchase.Read More
