Due to a projected growth plan Audley Travel are now hiring Africa Country Specialists to join both our London Shepherds Bush and our Witney, Oxfordshire offices. We are specifically looking for individuals who are passionate about travel and have travelled extensively around East or Southern Africa.
Day to day:
As an Africa Country Specialist you will help our clients to find out the who-what-when-where and why’s of their trip, creating truly tailor-made itineraries and personalising them to fit within each individual client’s needs. You will book and liaise with hotels, lodges, tour operators and airlines being the client’s point of contact for each and every requirement. With an obsessive keen eye for detail and distinctive high level of customer service skills your goal is to ensure all clients returning home have had a trip which exceeds their expectations, motivating them to return as a client again. You will be comfortable working to sales targets but equally happy doing the administrative tasks as this is a 360 degree role where you will handle every detail of the booking from initial inquiry to the clients returning home.
At Audley Travel, you can expect to be given extensive training including a 3-4 week trip to the countries within Africa that you will specialise in; departing within your first few weeks of starting your career as a Country Specialist! You will return to sales and systems training which will continue with your career at Audley Travel working your way up a career path, which will give you extra responsibilities, and salary increases with each promotion along the way.
Package: Our Witney, Oxfordshire based Country Specialists earn a basic salary of £21,000 per annum, rising to £22,000 after probation and our London based Country Specialists earn a basic salary of £24,500 per annum, rising to £25,500 after probation. You will also earn uncapped commission on every booking you make. We have extensive benefits on offer from 25 days annual leave which increases with each years’ service, season ticket loans, cycle to work scheme, pension, a dedicated staff Travel Executive who organises personal trips for Audley employees not to mention free fruit and juice in the office and your birthday off!
