Conservation & Sustainability: Natural Selection’s projects, commitment & unique model
Join us for a webinar with Natural Selection, presented by Dr. Jennifer Lalley. Jennifer has a background in conservation science and ecotourism development. She is Co-Founder of Natural Selection and Conservation Director.
In recent history, we’ve seen conservation of the natural world grow from a fledgling awareness in the 1960s, to a global interest. But somewhere along the way, Africa’s wild places became second best. Animals were poached, and wilderness areas were stripped of trees, eroded and mined. We realised that something had to be done to protect these areas.
From its inception, the business model of Natural Selection has been about creating an excellent safari experience that gives back and so 1.5% of each booking goes straight back to conservation. We believe that by simply visiting a wildlife area, travellers are encouraging its continued protection through tourism revenue. For that reason, our deep commitment to conservation is matched only by our devotion to providing our guests with the most unique and extraordinary safari experiences out there.
Hear about why Natural Selection was started and about its long-term commitment to making a difference. Learn about the conservation projects and community initiatives it supports and gain a better understanding of which camps support which projects.
