ATTA® Webinar Recording: Kenya Tourism Board presents: Reduced Park Fees - KWS National Parks

KWS  is a Kenyan state corporation that was established in 1989 to conserve and manage Kenya’s wildlife in Kenya, and to enforce related laws and regulations.

KTB on the other hand is also a state corporation whose mandate is to market Kenya at Local, National, Regional and International levels as a premier tourist destination.

Recently, The KWS slashed the entry fees to all KWS parks and reserves by 50%, setting a discussion on the impact of this move on conservation as well as visitor uptake at these facilities.

KWS will therefore be presented with an opportunity to unpack the strategy around this reduction while taking care of other obligations surrounding conservation and other initiatives
