Natural Selection is pleased to present their Namibian flying Safari
By Keri Muller, Natural SelectionTake to the skies with Natural Selection on their 6 night Namibia flying safari. The trip departs from Windhoek every Sunday from March 2020 and will take in Namibia’s most iconic sights.
The journey begins in Windhoek, before soaring across Namibia's desolate landscape to Sossusvlei where you will spend the first 2 nights at Kwessi Dunes in the 200 000 hectare Namibrand reserve. Activities such as game drives, nature walks, star gazing, quad biking and hot air balloon rides give guests ample opportunity to absorb the lunar landscapes.
Next, guests will fly over the dune fields and up the coast to Swakopmund - surely one the most spectacular flights in Africa, if not the world. After a seafood lunch on the beach at Swakopmund it’s back on board for the flight up to Hoanib Valley Camp for the next 2 nights. Travellers will explore the terrain on game drives and walks searching for the elusive desert adapted elephants and giraffe.
This wildlife fix will be followed by another unforgettable journey, this time by road down the Haonib valley to the award-winning Shipwreck Lodge in the Skeleton Coast National Park. The final 2 nights will be spent here exploring the dune fields, the interesting topography and the desolate coastline strewn with old shipwrecks, before flying back to Windhoek. There is an optional add on of 2 nights at Etosha Private Reserve.
