Asisten Travel - Madagascar is Reopening

Asisten Travel are excited to announce that travellers will be able to visit Madagascar from November.

Flights between Madagascar, La Réunion and Mauritius will begin again on October the 23rd, but as of the 6th of November flights will restart from Europe. Along with any restrictions dictated by the airlines, incoming travellers will take a PCR test on arrival, and quarantine while they await the results, but will then be free to explore.

Madagascar has remained on the UK's amber list, and the FCDO included it when it lifted its restrictions earlier this month. Madagascar will have a red list, but it is believed that this will be limited.

All of the Asisten Travel guides and drivers have been vaccinated, they have new protocols in place based on the best international standards, and the team have been tracking the guest experience at all of our key destinations and with our lodge partners. So, as soon as that negative result has been received, we can get our guests out to explore this incredible country in comfort and safety.

Nowhere on earth is like Madagascar, its nature, culture and geography are endlessly fascinating, and this may be the most extraordinary time to visit this beautiful and unique country.
