AFRICAN – The Fine Art of Travel: comeback of the glossy magazine for the German-speaking market
By *Anja Hanke-Schlepuetz, African MagazineThe new issue of AFRICAN - The Fine Art of Travel has been published. Following a COVID-induced break, the team behind the high-end German-language travel magazine started 2022 on a positive note, by once again taking readers on a sophisticated, heartfelt and authentic journey throughout Africa.
“After almost two years of operating exclusively online, it’s a wonderful milestone to finally hold the new print issue in our hands," says editor and publisher Anja Hanke.
The 164-page strong issue takes readers to a total of 10 fascinating African countries, including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Uganda, Kenya and Morocco. From the Atlas Mountains to the Kibale Forest National Park, from the Kalahari Desert to Mauritius – the issue’s highlighted destination – the magazine once again showcases the impressive diversity of the world’s second-largest continent.
In addition to classic safari features, the magazine turns its gaze towards lifestyle, sustainability and African trailblazers, such as Dr. Paula Kahumbu and her commitment to saving wild animals – which can also be witnessed in spectacular fashion at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
